we all know he is the deal, as long as doesnt get injured should shut down one side of the field.

do you think Jackson will test him? and who is he on Bateman? someone else?

lots of questions to be answered.

I doubt they are going to do anything special this year or at all. Saleh doesn’t move his corners. Sauce will man a side and that will be that.

I just hope they don't scheme Sauce out of what he does best.

He's a rookie, so I fully expect QB's to test him until he shows it's not worth throwing in his direction.

Sauce has scheme versatility because of his ball skills and length. I firmly believe he's best suited for an attaching style Defense where he can line up and shadow the best receiver on the other team. He's physically gifted and we will ease him into the speed of the regular season. by week 12 I think we will unleash him and next year he should be what a #4 pick should be.

So glad Houston took that scrubb Stingley

He won’t shut down one side of the field. He’ll take one player away from the offense.

Traditionally Saleh does not have his cbs follow Wrs but at the end of last year he did start moving Hall around occasionally following Wrs. But a bigger reason is Reed has played a lot better on the right side. When Reed made the switch his play improved quite a bit. Some people are more comfortable on one side. The plan is Reed on the right side and Sauce on the left.

Nah I doubt it. Saleh and that dipshit of a defensive coordinator only play zone for the most part.

Luckily Sauce reminds me a ton of Richard Sherman in play style so he’ll be great in a Cover 3.

“a monkey can call this defense”.

They’re not scheming Sauce, they’re putting him at CB and hoping he beats the man on front of him. There’s no scheming in our defense.

Maybe that's why we're ranked dead last.

    We need a new monkey!

ideally he would be on an island against the opposing teams best wr, but we'll probably use him in a zone like we use our 6th and 7th round drafted cb's. that's usually how we operate.

    Bingo!

They will test the kid and see what he's made of.

Obviously, he's our best corner talent wise so I assume he'll and should be matched up against the other teams best wideout regardless.

Let's see how well the defensive line puts pressure on the QB.

Ravens WRs are not world beaters; Jets should concern themselves with Mark Andrews esp. in the red zone. Overall the Jets major concern defensively should be the Ravens' gap scheme running attack which is tailor made to defeat the Jets DL's "upfield attack" style.

The zebras may have more to do with controlling Gardner than the offense or defense if he hasn't gotten his hands under control.
