LA... let me comment on our HC. As another poster pointed out he is losing credibility fast. I agree he is way more optimistic then he should be...esp. with his and the CS performance last year as well as, the record. Frankly, JD said his comminication sklls were great yet he is making the organization look incomptent or maybe they just are. Indeed, they did the same dam thing with Becton last year so who is at fault... JD hired the staff so its on HIM AND if he didn set the policy for messaging - which it looks like he didnot do - then shame on him.

Now for Mr. W.... last year the kid need his "special" coach to get his head screwed on correctly so maybe the kid is mentally weak, gen X-Y-Z whatever the designation is (no offense to anyone out there may fall into that category). This is just specuative on my part but have to be concerned.

Finally, all I can say is this is another shit show brought to you by the team that claims they left SOJ behind when the fired AG, yet they still pull stunts like this...makes me wonder.

Noam, I am not as optimistic as you are... I realize that our HC and CS is in their 2nd year but you when you make the same mistakes (becton repeat) and do not learn from them, then that cause consternation and concern.

let's just call it a cluster fuck......everything these days certainly qualifies.
not at all surprised with this but haven't posted anything.
had the EXACT same injury this last spring and took 10 1/2 weeks to start running/cycling again - wimpy shit compared to the NFL.
we'll see how this plays out but I don't think its out of the question that mr streveler or whoever it is gets some real game time experience this first month.

 

I think you are right about that. for players sometimes you can be physically ok but mentally not trust that you are healed yet

This is why the choice of QB3 should have been given far more scrutiny. This CS doesn't really deal with "foresight" very well. They had it in stone that ZW would start the season or at the most, miss a game or two possibly 3. Now that that wet dream is over, they're faced with an extremely sketchy QB room. If SloJoe gets hurt that forces them to elevate Mike White which SHOULD make Streveler QB2. On that, I have my doubts Saleh would even entertain such a move unless Mike White plays like last year after the Bengals game.

Honestly, I don't trust the timeline Saleh provided as NONE of his timelines has proven accurate. He may be parroting the medical staff but by now, he should know better. I have a feeling ZW will miss more than the next 3 weeks and we'll be reliving 2021 again. Just a matter of time..

Disappointing but I'd rather see him get to 100% before putting him out there. If he starts the last 13 games that is more than enough to evaluate him on his improvement.
