Except you are attempting to distract from the reality of personal responsibility with emotional language and concepts like suffering. It's not suffering to face the realities of your personal situation. Just a pathetic POV that expects the universe or the government to provide for your own personal well being and happiness.

I hate to break it to you but the universe and the government does not owe you ease and comfort. If you care about your success go get it. Blame your parents for having you if they chose to have a child without the resources to give it every convenience in the world and putting you in a position to have to work harder and make difficult choices.

In my experience though, a lot of people talking shit like you dont walk the walk with their own responsibilities.

Like our failed former president, Donald Trump, he has gone bankrupt 8 times. His followers cry about the student loan borrowers skirting their debts, but if they were like him, it would be like skirting that debt 8 fuckin times over. So your bullshit kinda seems preachy

Lastly, and I'm not sure why you ignore this, but the people getting the student loan relief have actually been paying their debts for years.

you are more than welcome to believe the ad hominem of attacking or questioning my credibility rather than addressing the argument is a sound argument, but I assure you it isn't and only strengthens my position because you are inherently conceding you can't counter it. Even if I am a hypocrite it doesn't negate the argument.

I'm glad to hear they are paying their debt. They should pay it all.

No one said we are owed anything. But there's no reason to rig it so things are harder so you have take unnecessarily dangerous jobs to live.

Except it's not an issue of situations being rigged and unnecessary; you are again using emotionally charged concepts to avoid the discussion of making pragmatic decisions and being responsible for the repercussion of those decisions.

You weight the repercussions, of which most choices have good and bad, and decide which suits you better. Some people believe the risk of their safety is worth it to join the military in order to set themselves up financially. Others don't and would rather assume a financial risk that could have other negative repercussions for their future. You live with those repercussions. To argue they shouldn't have to, as you seem to be doing, does require you to believe to some extent that the government, society or the universe should alleviate you of struggle that could come about because of your choices. They do not.

The universe does not owe every life in the cosmos equal convenience. Society does not owe ever person within the society equal convenience. And the government does not owe every citizen equal convenience.

I assume this is your POV for every single government financial relief/bailout program? Or what's the line?

The system is absolutely rigged to keep the working class from ever moving up. That is how America has been for a while now. The American Dream died ages ago. It's now the American Lottery.

Saying the next Albert Einstein or George Washington Carver or Alexander Graham Bell should have to join the military and risk death just to get an education if they are born to poor parents is insane. America uses poverty as a tool as a form of military recruitment. People aren't joining the military because they want to anymore. They are joining because there are literally no other options. At least that's what the soldiers who I talked to in the ICU at the hospital in Bagram said after telling me their stories about being blown up.

America needs to get away from using the military as a crutch for its economy. No one can do shit to us at this point. Our biggest and most advanced enemy can't even fucking take on Ukraine. China has shitty copies of other countries' equipment. North Korea can't even afford to fuel their planes or feed their military. The only real threat America has left are terrorists and we don't need to be spending nearly $800 billion to deal with that. Even cutting that in half, $400 billion could solve a lot of infrastructure problems America has. Affordable education. Healthcare.
