the cut down dilemma

    Hamsah Nasirildeen and Jamien Sherwood are not adequate LBs... poor run support and coverage skills. That is two. You need more OL support, our Bups execpt for the rookie...are not good.

    Sherwood has put on muscle and seems to have increased his game so I'm ok with him. Hamsah was one of my favs but it looks like he didn't improve much so ya, he's prob a goner.

    Interesting that for the moment 2 undrafted guys make the roster and quite a number of holdovers from last year let go. Some guys could still be gone as waivers, etc happen, but absent a big trade the core of the team is set. I am happy the staff looked deeply into the mirror and let preseason production enter into the decisions. I expect some more help for the OL.

    I also find it interesting that for the moment they do not have a fullback. A departure from the SF style offense they were playing. Wonder if this sticks.
