The best things to happen to the Jets this preseason was Chris Streveler's heroics and the emergence of the rookie classes of '21 and '22. They provide hope of a brighter future once all the dead weight on the roster is purged. Finally people have reason to smile when they think about the Jets. Not quite on the level of what Steve Cohen did with the Mets but not a bad start at all..

If Wilson takes the next step then this team will be very competitive. Of he does then what will hold them back is the defense. I'm hoping he takes that next step.

I'm a Wilson supporter but I'm a realist. Right now there are more signs pointing to him being not good than the other way around. I can't confidently say he is going to be our QB of the future but I sure as hell am rooting for it.

But it is positive sentiment. No one ever said HOW much positivity was needed in these posts. Be real until Zach makes that jump and brings the team along. Jets will be looking for a new QB soon

A great example of a realistic, logical and well thought out post. It is negative but being negative was never the problem. The problem is posters that insist there is only one outcome possible which they spam this forum with continously.

Oh and Bickety. You win a cookie. Grats!

    Noam,

I like your posts my friend. Intelligent posts full of football points. I sometimes come across your back and forths with some posters but I don't see any spamming here to be honest. Can I kindly ask you not to use this type of tone towards our posters and report anybody you think is spamming the board?

I hope you won't misunderstand me.

Good post. I still have some hope about Wilson and not ready to give up on him. But I have to ask you something. Was it worth it to run @legler82 out of this forum by your sarcastic attacks each time he defended his position that Wilson didn't cut it for him?

Friendly question bickety. I hope you know where I am coming from.

Have you ever read a post by BrowningNagle, Brad, etc. Not only do they lack all knowledge of football but they offer no facts except those twisted beyond recognition, they offer only one possibility that JD sucks, ZW will fail and reject any other possibility or facts that disagree with. They repetitively spam this forum with essentially the same post day after day. Yes we know you hate Zach Wilson and yes we know you hate Joe Douglas but do they need to tell us that same thing 20 times per day.

    byz,

We don't moderate sarcasm. Their back and forth never break any forum rules. But we can discuss my sucky moderator skills another time.

    Noam,

I have been with Browning Nagle and Brad on this forum for years. I never saw them cross any line. This is forum and they are entitled to their opinions as much as you. Both are great posters and we are lucky to have them as we are lucky to have you.

Legler spammed this forum with 50 to a 100 posts of memes every single day for 3 months in the same thread because he was upset that NFL scouts disagreed with his feelings about Justin Fields. He therefore tried to spam all posts that refuted his points. He deserved to be shut down. It wasn't one day it was everyday for 3 months with at least 50 posts per day. He drowned out everyone who disagreed with him. Simply because he could not handle being wrong.
