    Problem is (the way I understand it), since this happened before he was drafted he’s not subject to the NFL conduct code penalties as ridiculous as that sounds

    He’s a scumbag if this is remotely close to true. However the title needs to be changed to accused, this is a civil suit . No charges yet.

    They only have the $216K signing bonus tied up in him since his contract is not guaranteed so I'm thinking they cut him, the press is just not worth it for the Bills.

    It has come out that the team never followed up with the woman’s attorney after he told them about the allegations. Now all of a sudden McDermott says “new information has emerged,” and he sits him down for the preseason game. Hard to see why a potential Super Bowl team would want this headache over a sixth round rookie punter.
