Huh? Hope you mean to say we are in agreement Lon The victim status was in reference to Posters calling friend Brad "insufferable" with his dark side comments Capiche?
a very good breakdown thank you for posting. As we said first two throws were bad and then was settling in.
There was an issue last year where he would get to hyped up, nervous, etc and just not relax which is the norm for young QBs. typically OCs help young QBs with easy throws to start the game to get them in rhythm and build up confidence. This is something hopefully ML will improve upon and ZW as well. That being said I really like Pavia and his breakdowns. I like his insight on the INT. I don't see anyone else break down Zach's film with the detail that Pavia includes. He does not sugar coat it for Zach, the receiver or ML. He seemed really critical of not only Zach but Corey Davis.
Hope the surgery goes well and we get a decent recovery time. I won't stress that he needs to be out there as soon as possible, but hopefully it'll be a few weeks or so. I think it's pretty apparent in this particular topic that Zach is probably gonna need a few seasons to make some here believers. I honestly believe even if Zach was to have a Joe Burrow rise, and by rise I mean level of play not exactly leading his team on a Super Bowl run, it still wouldn't be enough for certain individuals. That's fine and based on his performance last year it's fair one to have until proven otherwise statiscally and team wise. I always wonder how Ravens fans feel about Lamar Jackson's MVP and playoff appearances after 4 seasons? but the fact that he's still not a great pure passer and probably never will be. Or Lions fans about Stafford for a whole decade with his nice stats but little wins. I'll remain optimistic obviously and try to keep my expectations to a reasonable amount, but obviously the most important thing at the moment is getting him back on the field and watching him hopefully progress and make this team respectable.
Great news. I'm sure we'll get a better timeframe as more info comes out but glad it went well and there were no surprises once they got in there.
Pretty sure this is speculation on Schefty's part but it does make sense. I'm preparing for Flacco to start Week 1 and then for Zach to start Week 2 after a full week of practice.
A 3 week recovery gives Zach a full week of practice before week 1. 4 weeks puts him line for week 2. I am guessing there are a lot of people that would not mind seeing Flacco get a chance vs. the Ravens.
Feel like this is the first one that has mentioned a 4-6 week recovery timeframe. Either way, sounds like it'll be anywhere from 2-6 weeks. Best case, he's back by Week 1. Worst case, he's back by Week 3-4. Hopefully it's closer to the best case than the worst case.
