Reminds me a little of Minshew and Fitz. Never know he could beat out White, and Flacco wants no part of playing or mentoring. Having only 2 more preseason games may hurt his chances. Will see how he does.
Maybe they should only play ZW against 3's and 4's ? He would look a lot more like a FQB than he does now.
He couldn’t beat out a guy who threw 33 touchdowns to 30 interceptions on 59% completion percentage at a D1 school but we should give him a look as our starting QB because he threw a couple touchdowns against a bunch of guys who likely won’t be NFL players in September.
I was impressed with what I saw. Would like to see some deeper throws. As for now I'd say Streveler is the perfect CFL QB: He runs, and gets out of the pocket quickly to make short throws. Never has to worry about 4th down.
I have been a huge supporter of Zach Wilson since before the Jets drafted him. However, I'm getting to the point of having my tolerance for his drama run out. This team is ready to start winning games and competing in games consistently, and I could give fuck all right now if Wilson is the QB or not. I've had enough of the drama and all of the off field bullshit, the injuries, and everything else. If the stage is too big for Pretty Boy then get the fuck off of it and tell your uncle you'll take that job at JetBlue Airlines. This motherfucker better get his act together and soon. Forget the Milfs, forget vacations in Idaho before training camp, forget the partying and the pictures from Mexico, and commit yourself to the game completely. Josh Allen must look at his fellow QB and he must be laughing his ass off behind closed doors. Allen eats, sleeps, and thinks nothing else but football - and it shows. If we could only take Streveler's heart and put it inside of Wilson then we might have something. This kid needs to be pushed - and the anointing needs to end. I wanted to post that the Jets should have traded for Baker Mayfield months ago, but then thought better of it. Now? Fuck yes, because this kid needs to be pushed and not handed shit. I want a QB with some dog in him - and Wilson has yet to show he possesses such a quality. You bet your sweet ass it is. By winning, I mean getting to games in the 4th quarter with a chance to win. I couldn't give two shits if they won or lost last night - it has nothing to do with my feelings. This team is on the verge, still a work in progress, but on the verge of busting through to the other side. Zach Wilson can't hold them back.

And with no apologies either. Yeah, the Jets would have sent a message to Wilson with such a move...earn your own keep. Perhaps that membership should be passed on to you since you're aware of what Mayfield has done in his career to this point as compared with Pretty Boy.
I get where you’re coming from but outside of the moms friend thing the rest is standard. You just don’t follow the Chargers for example so you don’t hear about Herbert’s vacations. I didn’t even know about the Mexico thing until I looked it up and I didn’t see any partying but just him on a boat with his family. He’s been in the NFL for one season.
Since Flacco won’t be playing much in the preseason we will see a lot more of Streveler, and perhaps a competition with Mike White for the third QB spot.
