Popped up on my you tube page. Never knew it even existed and just wanted to share it with y'all. Very good episode and Laken Tomlinson is the freakin man. Looking forward to the rest of the episodes.
I really like the Tomlinson part of the video. Guy looks a great addition. Love the part with him and Quinnen.
After the Becton news I wasn't in much of a mood for propaganda, but I'll get to watching these eventually
I mean, it's propaganda that I like, but it's a "Woody Production" after all. Not all propaganda is bad propaganda ; ) It's for Johnsons by Johnsons.
What propaganda? It's a documentary. I know I've said it before but as a doc producer myself it's fun to watch them get better but frustrating knowing how much better it should be. Either way, I'll take these every week for as long as they are pumping them out. If you're not invested in Laken Tomlinson, check your pulse.
Textbook definition. I'm not saying it isn't well-made, entertaining or informative, but it is definitely propaganda.
No, you are choosing only one of the options in the textbook definition, which I figured you would. Bias is the other one. Hard Knocks is NFL propaganda, not specific to the Jets.
Jets fans have to be the most eccentric bunch of fans there is. Has to be a New York/Little brother syndrome. I'm honestly shocked that two and probably more who haven't posted think this propaganda in any way shape or form lol. I mean what's next? The Jets organization secretly love breaking the hearts of their fans knowing that we will always come back and spend our hard earned money time after time after time... Well that could be true. It's a documentary and a very well done one at that. A nice glimpse into the locker room without the over done nature of Hard Knocks. Nice seeing Saleh preach his values. We got to see how some of our younger core bond together, and a nice back story to one of our biggest signings this past offseason. Seriously, some need to lighten up a bit.
They make these videos to get us more emotionally attached to the team. Then we'll watch more games, buy more merch, gamble more, etc, etc, etc. In the pre-season videos, they highlighted different players and coaches and even some scouts. This gets us more attached to those individuals and makes us want to root for them and follow their successes and failures. It's just like a sitcom such as Friends where you root for Ross and Rachel to get together. Goodell knows how to make $$$$$$$ and that's why he gets paid the big $$$$$$$.
