Some of those options aren't that bad IMO. Brown & Massie for the FAs and a Dillard trade are the ones that make the most sense to me. We just need someone that isn't a total disaster to hold down the fort at RT this year. I envision JD will target OT hard next offseason.
Seems like all the players who would be a great fit only played 2 games the last 5 years But I guess if they were talented AND durable, they wouldn't be on the list to begin with....
Exactly. At this point, guys are still FAs for a reason. We're not talking about the cream of the crop at OT anymore.
It also depends on how well Mitchell develops. He was drafted as a project developmental player. If they like him they might let him compete with Becton next year for RT.
Would be nice if Max developed enough to be competent this season but I'm not holding my breath on that.
Its clear we don't have Dante Scarnacchia as our O-Line coach. So then who the hell is our O-Line coach? Little concerning that the interior pass rush is making a # of sacks considering vets McGovern & Tomlinson along w/a traded up 1st round draft pick in AVT.
