"Even parents sometimes can be a distraction."

Can we trade his mom in exchange for Greiner?

    You’re very welcome my friend!

Rich was pretty quiet today on the Twitter front.

Even in his daily recap (below), he finds a way to be critical of Zach who, by most accounts, looked very, very good today. It’s just his thing IMO, and it makes sense if you think about it. His job is not only to report but to generate views/clicks. “Zach Wilson struggles in Day 5 of TC” tends to generate more traffic than “Zach Wilson shines in Day 6 of TC”. It is what it is, Cimini doesn’t bother me anymore because I know what to expect from him.

I’m in 3 fantasy leagues and I’m going to try like hell to make sure Elijah Moore is on every team I have, so I’m right there with ya!

Yeah Moore and Hall should definitely be drafted, everyone else is a wildcard.

Don't they understand that you can't enjoy the season till it's over?

Prettiest long ball I've ever seen. 100% spin, 0% wobble. Hats off to Flacco. And to Moore for that one handed stab.

We've been hearing a lot about completions from White to most of the 2nd and 3rd tier WRs, and a lot of good reception when Flacco was under center. Which one do we keep? If ZW goes down again, which gives us the best chance to win? I'm leaning to Flacco just due to his years of getting it done, and his beautiful long ball (still). With a full complement of our WRs including Garret W and our new TEs and new Running Game, I bet Flacco could do just about as good as ZW running the O, if need be. While ZW is far better at off platform/scramble back yard ball, Flacco seems better at standing tall in the pocket and just throwing it downfield. Our O would be completely different if Flacco had to step in, but I don't think we lose much. thoughts?

Odd comment that Cimini "finds a way to be critical" of Wilson in a Tweet that begins "Mostly good day for Zach Wilson..." He then gives his completion rate and lists his positives today. Do you really believe he is actually attacking him when he also lists negatives? Is there a single good reason they don't belong in such a report? Other than the positive vibes only cliche?

Again, it’s just Cimini’s thing. I don’t see an issue with anything he writes anymore because I feel like I know what to expect now. I actually don’t hate Cimini, sometimes he produces well-written articles and provides good insight. Sometimes he doesn’t and is just trying to generate traffic for ESPN. It is what it is.

Just to be clear, I have no issue with him criticizing/critiquing anything/anyone. I just feel like when he produces the latter content that I referred to above, he provides no context and it’s more clickbait than anything.

JJ can most likely step in Day 1 and provide solid production. But yes, he's not a finished product when it comes to pass rushing.

I don't think that's true at all. Look at this forum, Jets fans get upset when someone is critical of Zach Wilson or negative in general, Brook deletes their link, etc.

I suspect Cimini's most popular article of the summer by far has been his article on Zach Wilson's training event in Idaho, which was very positive.

For Jets fans, I think you’re correct.

For anyone else, I would disagree.

Drama, controversy and misleading headlines is the way to get more clicks. That is what ESPN specializes in, what Cimini has always done and many other media sites do. Drama and negativity always beats substance. Maybe not with the hard-core fans but for casual fans they need that extra incentive to get them to click.

Correct. This isn't necessarily directed at you but just felt like I should clarify the comment you quoted.

For Jets content, Jets fans will always prefer the positive/optimistic/in-depth stories.

Everyone else (casual fans, fans of other teams, etc.) will prefer the sensationalized content that you're referring to here.
