Hey guys, I did have a few weeks where I was too busy to write many Jets articles, because I was preparing for something pretty cool. The Gridiron Heroics site is new but it has hit over 200k views in its first month, so we are expanding pretty quickly. I got the incredible opportunity to host their flagship podcast, which is the first expansion into multimedia. It will be released 3x per week, and we will be covering all football, from the NFL to small school CFB. I have around 60 scheduled guests for the summer alone, mostly including GH writers but also other podcasters and YouTubers etc. This week's schedule is Intro to the Show (Monday) NFC East (Wednesday) AFC East (Friday). Everyone on this site has always been super supportive, which I appreciate so much. If you want to follow this endeavor, here is the trailer for the podcast and you can find links to subscribe on all major podcast apps. If you subscribe to the podcast with the trailer, you'll automatically get the first episode when it premiers tomorrow. I am vaguely justifying posting it in this forum because I am covering the Jets in the first week, lol. I will of also continue writing about the Jets for the site as well. Cheers! https://gridironheroics.com/new-podcast-trailer-gridiron-heroics/
Max Great to hear and congratulations on your new endavour. You know I am a big fan of your podcasts. I will be a subscriber to make sure I listen every episode. Good luck as always.
Congrats Max…hey I see you’re in Austin…I’ve recently taken a job there so I’m in Austin a lot lately….hot there these days for sure!
Thank you! Plus I know all of you guys have been hitting my articles on the site. I can see where the traffic comes from, and honestly I can't tell you how cool it is that TGG has been supportive the way you all have. It's an amazing feeling.
Grats Max. You have always made this forum a better place. Not only your great insight and analysis but your calm, unemotional level headed demeanor. In a forum that is too often dominated by overreaction, ego and emotion I have always looked forward to your calm and sensible posts. They have always made this forum a better place. I am glad that the rest of the world can now enjoy your wisdom. Best of luck on the podcasts. Loving all the articles.
Eventually yes. It’s 3 episodes per week and I’m working hard to ensure the quality of the first step before continuing on. I have to come up with the schedule, book all the guests, edit all of the recordings, and do all of the podcast related back end stuff on the site… So right now I can really only handle one type of media.
I have to say, I didn’t intend for “ME” to be all caps in the thread title lol… It was a typo but it looks painfully self-insistent every time I see it haha
