    It was a joke. The guy's name is right there on his shirt. Very few jewelers are known to wear scrubs.

    I like the way you framed that. The entire Jets coaching, medical and personnel staff sees this guy every day, and yet like you said the Jets didn't draft a tackle or sign one.

    But they haven't seen him for 10 months. He's been slobbing on his couch, eating burgers, playing games and abusing social media.everyone knows this.:mad::mad::mad:

    If Becton shows up to TC and plays well w/o getting re-injured, all the noise stops. If he looks rusty, people will give him a break. Fant is the insurance policy just in case Becton can't handle the position quite yet. Might also be the reason why the FO/CS didn't draft a replacement for Becton this time around.

    Personally, I'm done with the drama. It was entertaining for a time but now, its time for Becton to prove his detractors wrong or not. Its not like he can't be replaced.

    If Fant is the insurance policy…. Who plays the other T if we need to use the insurance? Does this mean we need 2 policies?

    It seems like Fant being a starter would disqualify him from being insurance….. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

    It would only if you need Fant just like insurance. Use it when you need it and pay for it until you do. But then you would be in a real fix if Fant has to be the starter anyway since that would mean Becton isn't on the field. I'd like to think there's a Plan C just in case Plan A (Becton) comes up short and Plan B (Fant) has to start. The Jet FO has shown pretty good judgement so far so I hope they have this possibility planned for.

    I’m pretty sure plan A is both Becton and Fant on the field at the same time.

    gonna need a 'plan B' as that's only happened 13 times out of a possible 33 in the past 2 seasons

    not to mention both guys are rehabbing injuries already

    this was my concern as well…I wasn’t super happy that our plan B was to let Moses go and then wait until round 4 to take an OT.

    not sure what a better answer would be because it’s tough to carry three starting quality tackles (Fant, Becton, Moses) on the roster but I am definitely concerned.

    clearly JD and Saleh aren’t as we passed on OT in round 1 so it is what it is…but if Becton misses a bunch of time we are looking at Edoga or McDermott as a starting OT … kinda scary
