Seriously, the Secret Service should be firing anybody who deleted texts about Jan 6th. It doesn't matter why they deleted them. The positions they fill are sensitive enough that anybody who is in them should know not to text about things that are immaterial to Presidential security and never under any circumstances to delete texts that were material.
Well, obviously that's not a text *about* Jan 6th. However it's a good question from another standpoint - which is that detailed agents should not be carrying insecure texting devices while on detail and should not be using secure texting devices for personal business.
