The irony with Gallo is he'll probably be alright next year once they ban the shift. But the Yankees can't afford to keep playing him, so it's time to trade him to a team that thinks they can fix him.

They have to Carpenter out of the OF. He's not good at all. He cost them 2 runs last night.

How much longer can you keep trotting Gallo out there? I’d rather watch my dog try to hit a major league pitch.

You pretty much knew Stanton was gonna hit a bomb there. Eovaldi is the perfect matchup for him.

Honestly I don't see many extra hits for him if it's banned looking at his play on the Yankees. He reminds me of Kris Davis at the end of his career, but a little worse.

He's a terrible hitter. He can hit the ball on one plane and that's it. Banning the shift he may hit .220

It's a chore to watch. He faced some position player over the past few weeks and he still looked like he couldn't hit a ball against the pitcher. Lucky for him he walked on a borderline ball 4.

I would have went with someone else too... But The only relievers worth a damn are Holmes and Peralta, who's hitting above his weight. The bullpen needs another late inning arm, maybe two.

I'd package Chapman and Gallo for an old torn rosin bag....if we could get it.

Eh I’m not as doom and gloom about the pen as you are. Loaisiaga has gotten tagged a couple times badly but he’s been fine in most of his starts and his ERA is inflated because of 3-4 bad outings. Michael King has been above average.

Those two + Holmes and Peralta makes a great pen. I won’t disagree with ever adding another arm though I think we need a starter more. Taillon/Montgomery/Cortes have come back down to earth a lot. We’ll watch one get hurt and one implode and our starting pitching is shot.

King has been good, did forget about him when I posted.

Loaisiga has been bad. Hopefully he can turn it around that would be huge, but his ERA is like an 8 and a WHIP of 1.73.

I actually was also going to say they need another starter too, but tried to not be too negative about the pitching

Did you see Devers diving stop in the first or second on the liner? Continues to prove your theory correct. Decent fielder overall. Brooks Robinson against the Yankees

I did. He's a solid defender when I watch him that's for sure

If Gallo ever starts again in place of Carpenter Boone should be shot.

Yanks pouring it on right now. Fuck Boston. If we had a manger with half a brain we would have swept them.

NESN is the most bitter commentary watching the Yankees. Even though they've had more success in the past decade they have little brother syndrome.

I just turned on the game from getting home. They are getting smoked, so NESN is talking about how teams with the best record don't necessarily win the WS. When Boone got ejected, he wasn't backing up his team.. He's was having a "fit."

Really answers why red Sox fans are the way they are

That’s how you punch your rival in the dick ahead of the break. Good show.
