Becton has the ability to shut all this chatter down immediately if he comes out and says his weight. Its that simple, do you think for one second that if he was say 345lbs he wouldn't come out to shove it in everyone's face ie his stupid ass t- shirt?
In my opinion the way he plays in training camp and pre season is the only way it will be put to bed. If he plays like a demon at 380 is far better than a weak play at 360 or 370 My two cents. Thruth is no one knows what his optimum playing weight should be, I trust the trainers and CS to be on top if it. But all summed up, it’s a valid concern that needs to be shut down by his performance on the field.
Yeah, this is the crux of the argument. There's no reason for the Becton camp to hide a complication with the injury - it reflects more poorly on Becton if there hasn't been a complication. Even putting that aside, Saleh has said the knee is 100%. I don't know why he'd be held out of practice with that in mind. If it was an abundance of caution because of the injury then Saleh would've said that, because again that reflects better on Becton than the alternative (that he's too heavy to practice). It's pretty clear what's going on here guys.

yup! The thing that makes me laugh is that he thought wearing a size XXXXXL T-shirt with a saying on it proved something to the haters, when in actuality it woulda been a lot more effective if he stood up there without any shirt (if he was as in shape as he claims to be )

yeah but why would he. the reality is who cares? us fans do because its the boring offseason and it's interesting and we have concerns about a player. the CS may be concerned IDK and we'll never really know because they won't say it. For becton he has nothing to gain. all that matters is he plays well when the season starts. the rest is just fans finding somehting interesting to debate during the time of the year where football has a lack of news

Becton look ahead in a nutshell from my view point. The one and only thing all of us can agree on, starting foremost with Becton, is that he has much to prove this year. The motivation might be different for the player, the reasons might be diametrically opposed by the fans, but good performance erases all doubts. The rest be damned. The other thing we should all agree with and hope for, starting with him, is a common desire to succeed above all. If you don’t, well, IMO you ain’t much of a Jet fan.
