Great presentation....Only thing they did better this year is draft! They killed the '22 offseason. Let's hope the off season carries over to regular season. J...E...T...S JETS JETS JETS! KUDOS TO THE JET ORGANIZATION !!!
One of the reasons I can't see the team wanting to do hard knocks again. They can control their own narrative with their own in house stuff. I will say that the team that have put one jets drive together for recent years have done a great job and keep producing a good product. Sent from my M2007J20CG using Tapatalk
I'm going to need to watch it again later. Tried watching it this morning but contrary to what everyone else is saying, I am finding it kind of disjointed. I like that it has Eisen narrating and a bunch of recognizable faces from the media, but it seems like they would start to move on with the narrative and then would keep returning to the 2021 draft. Definitely didn't need to be 45 minutes long, there is a ton of filler.
Not wrong, very disjointed. They have some really really good stuff in this series and overall I really like it but it’s all over the map, needed some guidance. I thought it was just me being cynical asshole who has produced docs for the last decade-plus. I still absolutely would recommend it though.
It's not bad but there are small things that you think they'd get better after spending on Eisen and those others. And I cringe every time Ulbrich opens his mouth. Hopefully there's something more to that guy because he just seems like a goon.
You and me both. First off Saleh. I had a boss who always talked the big talk. He would say Brook! you are a star, Brook! you are the future of the company. Super hype guy with tons of cheesy motivation words. All Gas No Brake type things. My fear is Saleh is that guy. The guy who I didn't like as a person was as solid as it got. He was an asshole but thanks to him, I got 2 financial awards from my company and got two promotions. He reminds of Bellichick. Now Ulbrich. To me he is the weak link. Good thing is, if he fails, he will take Saleh with him. I fell in love with Mike Lefleur. If Saleh the hype guy and Ulbrich the 32nd ranked defense in the league don't get their shit together, we have a good potential Head Coach in our coaching ranks.
Players coaches don't always fail. Saleh coached under Pete Carroll who is one of the biggest players coaches ever, but I know what you mean. Saleh has a boy scout vibe. I don't think it's terminal tough.
It'd be scarier if we had a HC from the O side of the ball like Gase. But with a HC like Rex or Saleh I'm less conserned. What does concern me is Saleh's D losing the SB after having a big lead. So Rex-like. How'd that even happen???
I like Saleh and think he is incredibly genuine. He has the pulse of his players and players love playing for him. Before him we could hardly ever capture talent. They just didn’t want to come here. Yes, he is rah, rah, and all that, some times too cliche but so what? he carries his heart on his sleeve and wants to get the team to reach maximum potential. What I care is his ability to build a winning organization. We shall see. If he can turn this ship around I’ll be forever grateful.
Not bad production values at all. Hard Knocks really had an influence in this kind of thing. There's always the same beats. Always the same beats. It's awesome if you're geeked up.
Great presentation, however, I keep getting flashbacks to what an embarrassment the 2020 draft was, as were most of the first 10 games of last season as well. Until they actually win some football games on the field, the NY Jets are still the perennial kings of every offseason, and are the Champions of big talk. Hoping the 2022 draft turns this cycle around and makes all of the talk legitimate.
