Pete really likes this park. He’s got 53 rbi

The Home Run Derby this year will be at Dodgers stadium. Might be another Million for him.

Well, this is certainly a much more impressive showing at the plate. Pete with two HRs and 5 RBI to add to his league lead.

This delay is ridiculous. Not our problem they don’t know the rule. Terrible job by these damn umpires. Like it’s a Dodgers issue for not knowing the rule. Gonna just give them a half an hour to do whatever the fuck? This is ridiculous! It’s only 1:28am. Absurd what just occurred!

Idiocy related to the Dodgers wanting to bring in a position player to pitch when it isn't allowed.

I like Darling pointing out how using position players to pitch has become totally out of control. They should ban it altogether.

Important win for the Mets to hopefully get their heads straight.

Plus 5 runs is not an insurmountable amount as we’ve seen.

    MVPete.

The way that he has steadily improved as a hitter over the last 3 seasons is so impressive. His plate discipline and ability to hit for contact are light years better than what he was as a rookie.

Nice rally from 0-2 to 4-2. Now comes an interesting decision by Showalter, bringing in Diaz to face the top of the Dodger order in the 8th, rather than waiting for the 9th. I agree with it, and hopefully it will work out.

1-2-3 inning for Diaz. 4-2 going to the 9th.

Horrible job by Lugo. Bringing Diaz in for the 8th wasn't the wrong decision, but maybe not letting him go out for the 9th was?

It will be quite an upset to me if the Mets win this game.

Mets win, much to my surprise. Medina dances through raindrops and gets the save, and a big split against the Dodgers.

In the end, a great win, I already suffered one brutal loss yesterday.

I think I would’ve melted into nothingness if the Mets lost in that manner yesterday.

Very impressive top of the 1st for the Metsies - 40 pitches for Snell already, and lots of excellent two-out at bats. 3-0 Mets.

Quite a game for Escobar - he hits for the cycle, and drives in 6 runs!

Certainly have to like how this team comes right back after giving up runs. Three straight impressive games against good teams.
