What is our young WRs all get eaten by a shark on a diving trip in Hawaii, are prepared for Davis and Black to be our top WRs? Funny stuff but what’s more likely to happen. When Becton sprained his knee in early September 2021, I woulda been shocked too if someone suggested he won’t be ready by May of 2022. And yet here we are
If someone told me a 380lb man dislocated his patella and would be ready to return as a professional athlete in 2 months, I wouldn’t have believed him. When I broke my ankle the dr told me id be back on my feet in 8-12 weeks. What he didn’t mention was after those 8-12 weeks I could barely put pressure on that foot and my calf was about 1/3 the size of my other one. Sure I was “back on my feet” but I sure at wasn’t about to run a race. I’m a fan but I believe JD/RS dropped the ball asking the right questions in Sept.
Good evening, viewers. A plane crashed into the surf off Hawaii this afternoon, a disaster that apparently stirred up a feeding frenzy among a school of hungry sharks that attacked visiting divers. Nothing like having your first child to make you mature and grow up real fast. Becton will beast out this year...he has something very precious to play for.
They're both about the same age, 22/23. Maybe a more mature AVT can show Mekhi how to be a better player, i.e. film work, preparation, conditioning... Sort of take him under his wing, having been from a better program?
Maybe what Becton needs is some tough love from Saleh. Enough babying this guy. Yeah I saw in some video's of Becton working out (i.e., carrying two 50 pound weights across the room, wow!). What video's I'd like to see is someone yelling at him while he's pulling a tractor trailer uphill and screaming from effort (watch Derrick Henry workout). Not sure Becton has that in him but hope he does because he has all the physical tools. Love to see him and AVT on the right side dominating.
