    Well it's going back a bit but I would say one legendary take was that Philly Stacks himself would be signing a million $ recording contract.

    If he's gone I will definitely miss him. One of the few posters here who was already an adult when the Jets won it all and he had a unique perspective on that.

    Yep ..true that. Lots of negativity about Champ but to tell the truth his heart was in the right place

    I was a teenager in HS when Namath took us to the Promised Land heh

    Yep. I digged it up a while before. This was his last post and I am so sad that he never logged back again. According to our age tree thread in BS Forum, he was born in 1940. He was in his late twenties when the Jets won it all. Hope everything is OK with him and he makes a comeback. I don't even want to think we may have lost him to Covid :(

    I liked DWC's take on Hamsah Nasirildeen. Something about steal of the draft and immediate impact. Very astute.
