The Jets have signed first-round pass rusher Jermaine Johnson, the team announced Monday. He received a four-year, $13.08 million fully guaranteed deal with a standard fifth-year option, I like that they're getting the 1st rounders signed. So far Sauce & Johnson signed.
There will be offsets. The only reason the Agent pushed to remove them last year was because it was a QB and he thought he might get the Jets to change the precedent. Same with Darnold
Thanks Max I also think agents are pushing for removal of offset language for any Top 5 pick right? I might be wrong though. So far Joe D didn't remove offset language from any of his first rounder as far as I know.
Yeah I can’t remember every detail but if I remember right, every team but like 2 (Jacksonville and 1 other I think) use offset language. And then I think most teams have given up offset language for high 1st round picks except like 2 (Jets and 49ers I think) So a couple teams do no offsets Most teams do offsets except for high picks And a couple teams do offsets no matter what That’s from memory. And agents always want to get the Jets to waive offset language with QB’s because if they actually get them to do it, that’s a really nice addition the the agent’s resume. So far the Jets have stood strong with it. someone can correct me if I’m remembering imperfectly.
It's just a bloody number lol aesthetic You sound like the old men on the 'soccer' forums holding a candle to the bygone days of players wearing shirts numbered 1 to 11
Why does a certain number make you look good over another, that is just your view on the matter, I couldn't a flying fk what number they want to wear tbh. I had a discussion about this with somebody over Wilson potentially taking the #1 shirt and they said it looked awful on a shirt, I did think that was a little foolish but in all honesty, after seeing Sauce in his top I am not overly fond of it, even though I have been known to wear the #1 in Soccer on occasion, I think it must look different on the back of the shirt lol I also liked to wear the #5 but I played on the wing or as a striker if I wasn't the goalkeeper. (that is a center back's number traditionally)
Why K’OB, did you just ask my why the F it matters and proceed to tell me it matters? That’s what it sounded like to me
I hope not I just ordered a jersey with him in the #5 shirt See above post for being delighted he was in #5 bloody dhgate
You totally did. Very last sentence of your post. I like pass rushers to have numbers in the 90s, 92 would look good on jj
