More forgetful than lazy actually. It just seems so improbable that a team would be torn down to the bare bolts as this team has. The idea that a team with all new players, mostly inexperienced could make the playoffs seems far fetched.
That's a better stance to have with this team than they're the same team as the last 3-4 years. With this much roster turnover, it'll be vital for this team to develop some chemistry early and figure out how to play with one another. Throw in the fact that a lot of the team are younger and I fully expect there to be some growing pains, especially early on, but the talent is there for this to be a good team.
Came across this from Jan 11: "Jets’ QB Doesn’t Plan to Take Much Time Off in the Offseason, Aims to Put on Weight" Fast forward 4 months: No one works harder than Zach. Can't wait to see as much or more improvement his game as well. Very excited for the season, I think we are finally going to play some meaningful games late in the year.
This is another key reason I believe Zach will succeed. Going back to his H.S. and college career he showed a willingness and commitment to working hard to improve himself and it paid off in his senior year and him being drafted #2 overall. And even last year, while he struggled early he didn't give up and he did show improvement towards the end. Couple that drive with his physical traits, including what looks to be a stronger physique, and I think he's going to take that next step we all want to see. Of course, shit happens that are outside his or anyone's control, but he's doing his part to put himself in the best position to succeed and that's a great sign.
I may LIVE in CA for 20 yrs now... but I rode my bike to see Klecko Todd Walker Harper Gastineau... nearly frostbitten at Rich Stadium watching the post Byrd upset ...
I'm very excited for the season. If we can stay healthy we actually have a good roster for the first time in years
I still don't think we'll make the playoffs, but I'm def finding myself more excited than any year in recent memory. There's a different vibe happening.
Brook!!!! I am always excited this time year. There is no way to be disappointed with what the Jets did in the draft and the arrow seems to be pointing up…… But it is only May.
I'm straight up excited. I love what the front office is doing and love the direction this franchise is heading. Let's goooooo!!!!!
I had my annual check up at Summit Medical Center in Florham Park which is neighbors with Jets Training facility. After the check up, instead of turning right, I turned left to head to Jets facility. I have been there many times for training camp so I know my way. I just looked at the huge JETS sign and that was enough to keep me pumped up for the next season. Don't know man. Something is in the air. Jets will do great things in next few years. Can't hide my excitement.
