This could be a good signing as he get's massive penetration from the defensive tackle position. I know he failed his physical but if the Jets can wait till he rehabs having him and Williams attacking from the middle would be great.

I'd like that signing! He could fill the void of Fatukasi and actually fit the defense better. Glad to hear the Jets are looking at improving the DT position at least.

If Ogunjobi signs and Lawson returns to form the Jets defense will be a force to be reckoned with.

Upgrading the DT position is a must!

I don't understand why they aren't focusing on 2 gap run stuffers that can play either 5tech or 1tech tho.
Good chance they no longer plan on running the 4-3 Under as Base.
Maybe planning on more Wide 9? Better bring in better LB's at least.

Anybody know what kind of foot injury he had? I just looked at every article I could find and the most descriptive it ever got was "right foot injury".

Sounds like he's been a very productive pass-rusher, but run defense has not been good. Another DT acquisition would make sense, as could Kwon Alexander. The talent on defense has significantly improved this offseason, but hope the run defense will also

I would like to marry a supermodel. But since the universe of supermodels who want to marry me equals the empty set, I may have to choose between the girl with a peg leg and the girl with dragon breath. Peg legs aren't so bad.

The Jets would like a Pro Bowl DT who can stay healthy. [Something about the empty set.] Let's sign Ogunjobi.

Yeah to the other guys point, isn’t he lousy against the run? Although if Q wants major $, you’d think he’s add that element to his game + wasn’t rankings supposed to be a good run stuffer too? JFM is supposedly a natural 3 technique, which is Q’s spot presently? If if develops that aspect of his game, we can let Q walk or trade him. Ya get the picture-these in house schmucks need to get with the program and stop the run. I also think the improved secondary should help things as well..

All that said, the league is pass dominant anyway.
