I know Sauce is a baller but if I were on offense I'd relish the chance to be the hero and knock him out of the game.

Dude is a missed meal away from blowing away in a stiff wind.

Is he wearing kicker shoulder pads? Hope they don't let him do that at this level.

Hopefully he's too occupied playing a human shadow to the other team's best WR to matter.... dont think it'll be an issue

Stingley is heavier than Gardner but seems to have significantly more injuries. Robbie Anderson is the same weight, in more of a position to be taking hits, and this board always talked about how he was going to get broken in half but that never happened.

Would you rather he bulk up and loose a step? 190 lbs is about average for a CB. I doubt offenses will be targeting him to knock him out of a game, I do hope they will be trying to tackle him though because that will mean he just intercepted a pass.

It’s a reflection of the modern game. 10-15 years ago, yeah he would be too small, a pulling guard would get out there and wreck him. A big possession wideout would run him right over, etc

but these days the receivers are small and the corners can be as well. If he lets up a catch the receiver will let him push him out of bounds or even give himself up. There are very few physical receivers left

Other bozos take note: This is what a response should look like.

OP was a tung in cheek callback to the Wilson concerns of last season. Except for the kicker pads. Is that normal these days?

So it was tung in cheek except for the part that wasn't?

Merton Hanks was the same size as Sauce and played safety.

So your original post was *tongue in cheek and we were supposed to organically know that?

I remember when I assumed people who spoke about a time traveling hero sent here to right the USA were doing so sarcastically… then it turned out they weren’t being sarcastic at all.

How are we supposed to tell the difference when people say things tongue in cheek as a jest vs when people say the exact same thing but actually mean it?

In the AFC East alone...Sauce has got his work cut out for him.

    I hope he's ready.

He better be.. He might be in for a rude awakening when going up against some of the most dangerous WRs in PRO football. I just don't like big talkers. Never have. Kid might be painting a big assed bullseye on his back with all this attention coming his way.

This is a new generation of kids. Let them be who they are and have some fun. It’s on him if he busts and has to deal with the embarrassment of that.
