Watching the film of Zonovan "Bam" Knight and he lives up to that name Bam. Shifty looks for contact and has some good speed. Catches out of the backfield and will run back kicks. Someone to keep an eye on.

I wonder if Joe Douglas yelled, "BAM!!!" after signing him?

Not sure I understand this one though….granted it’s an UDFA but I thought our RB room was fine after drafting Hall…between him, Carter, and then two of Coleman, Johnson or Walter that’s a pretty good group.

again, it’s not like a limited resource I’m draft picks so it’s fine but I would have figured we’d be signing DTs and OTS

I’m sure the Jets were targeting OL DT LB S but essentially with UDFAs they’ll sign any player for any position if they see something they like. Like you said it doesn’t cost a draft pick so no harm no foul. In the case of the RBs yes the position is fine on paper but if this Knight kid shows something in camp players like Ty Johnson and Walter are expendable …. UDFAs is all about finding better depth for the most part.
