We brought in Greg Zuerlin about a month ago to compete with Piniero.

TE was an especial pet project of mine this offseason. And as I posted a couple times before I didn't just want to "address it" I wanted to solve the living crap out of it with a bare minimum of 2 and hopefully 3 guys.

Mission accomplished beyond what I even hoped for. I'm really looking forward to seeing what MLF can do with these guys now. The WRs will grab more headlines and rightfully so but I think these guys are going to really provide the torque to our offense. And the difference between this group now and the absolute shit we've been running out there for the last several years is hard to even quantify. For a few years there the Jets basically didn't even have a real TE on the roster.

Idk man, I hated the 2020 draft when it happened and we all loved the one last year and this year.

It kind of feels like the Ruckert pick was not just filling a need but also a nod to the fans.

I like the picks a ton but hoping we go o-line at some point. I like our starters, but are any of the backups any good or have potential? Just a little nervous about the depth there

We're all so happy right now. But watch we'll all wake up in the morning and the first two rounds were just a big dream. In our 'real' draft DJ got cute and drafted head scratchers no one ever heard of before!

I disagree. I hated the A Davis and James Morgan picks immediately. I did like the Becton pick. Liked Hall based on value. Was indifferent with Mimms pick at the time.

Nothing JD has done thus far this year feels like any of those picks to me...

I wouldn’t mind getting a kicker tomorrow. The position has been inconsistent at best since Myers left.

I couldn’t agree more . The two most important guys on the team as of right now…

I'm usually a pound the table for the OL guy and I probably would have taken Ekwonu over Gardner but honestly I suspect in the long haul we're going to be glad we have Sauce on board.

Plus as I was just contemplating that same thing it suddenly occurred to me that worrying about various backup/depth positions is what GOOD teams worry about. So the fact that we're worried about that and not gaping holes on the starting unit means that we're at worst clawing our way in the right direction.

I agree with all of this, but you can get away with a backup RB, Safety, etc…A bad backup olineman or 2 can destroy your team as we’re all well aware of.

I’m good with the picks but hoping we get atleast one olineman tomorrow

The only way to process it, in fact, it is now blatantly obvious whose hands were all over the 2020 draft.
