I have a bunch of Eagles fans friends and they are soooo mad they let Douglas go. I'm sorry, this draft just turned into a masterpiece by Joe Douglas.
After that Johnson pick it’s an A and it’s not even close. They got 3 players at premium positions with fantastic value. Sauce is an elite talent (even though I’m not crazy about this pick due to scheme but Saleh seems to love this guy), Wilson is awesome, and Johnson at 26 is great.
I stand corrected and I'm over the moon they moved up with out giving up both 2nd rounders. I love the JJ pick and this was a slam dunk first round.
I’ll say this and then go to bed. I’m thrilled. We got three studs in positions of massive need, all three highly wanted by most here in some order ….but as always a few are crazy bitching. Even when almost 90% of this board wanted at one time or another Wilson and JJ and Sauce but there was no way to get all three. I look forward to the season to find out what we have.Well done JD. Oh, and I couldn’t give two shits about watching KT in blue at this point, they can watch our boys in green instead.
Hoping this is a big step toward relevance. I haven’t been able to stomach the jets for years. Would love to rekindle that flame.
We got 3 first round picks at 3 important positions of need. The #1 or 2 CB prospect, the #1 WR prospect, and the #4 edge prospect. This was an A. Who voted F? Release the names!
A+ Best CB in the draft By many accounts best WR in the draft A top edge in the 20s Masterclass by JD.
Granted it was 3 first round picks, so of course there’s a lot to be excited about, but my initial reaction is still give it an A. Taking Sauce at 4 impressed me. It was the smart move, one that will vastly improve the D, and one i didnt expect from JD. I wasn’t crazy about the value of Wilson at 10, as there are so many good WRs options to be had, but I got a feeling we all gonna like him. Getting JJ at 26 was just a steal. Now just find some OL, LB, S and RB options with rest of draft. Maybe another QB. No more Safeties trying to play LB please.
A, who would even say otherwise? The Jets FINALLY addressed the premium positions instead of taking guards, safeties, and spending their money on off-ball linebackers and running backs. So... did Johnson kill someone or what? Wonder what caused the slide.
