Now we filled immediate impact positions with 3 first round picks! A good move in my opinion. Now get LB or DT with the 2rd pick and let’s go!

Yeah, he's older and has analytics red flags, but at this point if JD and Saleh think he can be a difference maker then by all means.

Plus they still have 38. I really enjoy Trader Joe.

So we give up 35, 69… keep 38… I would have loved to keep 69 but let’s get real, this is a great trade.

Finally got my internet back...just in time I see.

Well I can't complain. Two for certain studs in Gardner and Wilson, and a probable stud in Johnson and all filling needs (although CB maybe not so much).

So what's next? S or LB?

Gased and Confused is just a guy, just like every one of us - he puts in a lot of time and is well informed but neither he, nor his sources determine who is best.

You're a hundred percent correct, you go with the information you have and also the opinions you hold, good, bad or ugly. The success is not determined simply by making the pick.

Deciding which position to fill is also part of the success. The Jets have only now, by trading back into the first round, filled what the majority of Jets fans would have identified as the prime need. We can only wait to see how they all work out. That's when the GM gets judged, not now. Scolding others for their take on the GM's performance is out of line.

This was just an incredible draft. Of course we all hope they all pan out for us, still TBD. For the information and resources we have, this was a slam dunk regardless.

Hats off to JD. No doubt. Bravo.

the Tennessee Titans traded their second first-round pick (No. 26) and a third-rounder (No. 101) to the New York Jets
    for a second-round pick (No. 35), a third-round pick (No. 69) and a fifth-round pick (No. 163).

Jets landed apparently 3 of many scouts top 12 prospects, including Mel Kipers. I am liking it.

Only gave up one of our 2nd rounders and a couple lower level picks. This is amazing and insane all at the same time. We got incredible value and day one starters without giving up much. JD is a god. Thank you. Best Jets draft in forever. Almost makes me forgive them for Kyle Brady, maybe lol.

Very odd feeling to be happy with two drafts in a row.

Can't remember the last time I felt like this about two of our drafts in a row. I'm not very high on Saleh but him+LaFleur seem to have brought with them a knowledge about what kind of players and positions to target in the draft.

According to the draft value chart pick 38 & 101 should get us up to pick 30.

    JD should make it happen.

Damn Jags going to be nasty with young Defense in Lloyd and Trayvon and few current guys on the staff.

Look we all knew that once JD got the trenches at least serviceable, he'd turn his big guns on to skilled superstar players that make our hears go pitter patter! That draft has finally arrived. We know have a new GM. Not one building through the trenches. Nope that phase of our rebuild is DONE! Our new GM is all in on the Lamborghinis and Maestretti folks. Our team is about to get really good really fast, hold on!!!

so glad that trenche faze has left the building...TIME FOR SPEEEEED!!!!
