He was hit by a car this morning. Terrible news. https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id...steelers-qb-dwayne-haskins-dies-being-hit-car
He was in South Florida with teammates visiting Mitch Trubisky for workouts and getting to know each other. RIP
South Florida, I'm guessing it was some 90 year old great grandma driving a big caddy and couldn't see over the hood.
Very sad news. RIP Dwayne Haskins. Way too young. I saw him play in 2019. Feels like yesterday. Life is too short.
Very sad indeed. ESPN said it was a dump truck that hit him, but it could have been a granny driving.
Meet Greg Knapp. WTF. I was put in a ditch a few years ago when I was jogging. I HAVE A NUCLEAR LEVEL REFLECTIVE VEST THAT CAN BE SEEN FROM JUPITER AND YOU'RE BLINDING ME ON TOP OF IT TURN YOUR BRIGHTS OFF. I was totally going to get run over. I also almost got clipped in broad daylight, too. People don't pay attention. At all. RIP.
I know the area well where he was hit, it's super dangerous even in a vehicle. I just can't imagine the scenario, even if car trouble was involved that I would be walking on the highway there. WOW, shocking news...
"He was attempting to cross the westbound lanes of Interstate 595 when there was oncoming traffic," Miranda said in an emailed statement. What the fuck??
I saw a blurb that supposedly he ran out of gas so that's why he was walking. Obviously unfamiliar with the area but no clue why he didn't just call someone or even get a ride from the NFL. Horrible way to go.
It appears he made a really poor decision attempting to run across a highway. The only solace is it wasn't some idiot driving recklessly, it was just a result of a bad decision. Terrible regardless for him and his family.
