I’m starting to get the feeling we might be going OL/DL… it’s not what I’d do but I could see it happen unfortunately. I think it will be Ekwonu and Davis
it's possible we take ekwonu and johnson in the 1st and go for DT and WR in the 2nd. then mac tries to move becton or fant for another draft pick
It’s definitely possible. I thought about that and I think if he does pull the trigger it’s Becton on the outs. He doesn’t fit a zone blocking scheme. You need more athletic tackles. out of curiosity what do I think we can get for Becton? 2nd + 5th?
becton is more then athletic enough and if tunsil can grab multiple 1sts only way we move becton is for a 1st plus.
Ya well Billy O was a moron… Becton also is still injured. However, I feel JD did posture a bit when discussing Becton.
yeah we know BoB is an idiot, but a FLT who is young and under contract for 3 more seasons is worth a lot. more-so then even adams. I wouldn't expect 2 1sts but at least a 1st plus. otherwise it doesn't make sense to draft ekwonu. its basically like giving away our 4th overall for a 1st next year which could be in the late 20s. it would be an awful trade overall for us. If we moved fant for a high pick (maybe a future 2nd) it would make more sense since we'd have 2 young OTs on cheap contracts instead of a veteran OT who needs to get paid and is hitting 30 in his final year. Still though I really hope walker and ekwonu go in the top 3 and KT falls to us at 4
I would take the entire Baylor secondary. They got 3 players that hit and have a nose for the interception.
Maybe he's better than Foley then. Cause Foley never sniffed the QB. Zero sacks in 15 games last year.
4 - KT 10 - Stingley (He's going top 10 after LSU Pro Day) 35 - WR (Prefer trading back into late 1st for BPA WR) 38 - Breece Hall (RB not a need but Hall is going to be a STUD)
we really need a DT to replace foley. not a lot in the draft either. It's likely we use a pick on one in the top 4. we can get a RB in the 3rd or 4th easily. I also don't think we take a CB that high. not really a big need. safety is a bigger need
I don’t see the Jets moving on from Justin Hardee. Assuming they don’t cut him, who are you dropping your depth chart? Edit: or Pinnock. He showed enough promise as a S to give him time to develop.
No on Stingley. I still have nightmares over them taking Dee "Emergency Room" Milliner in 2013. They don't need a RB that badly that they can't get what they need in one of the later picks.
a cornerback who doesn’t play cornerback he doesn’t return kicks or punts he’s a gunner, that’s something you should teach your bottom of the roster guys to do, not sign as a free agent and take up a spot for
