100% agree. I can understand people not liking a certain player but as of now (still waiting on the contract details for Whitehead), JD hasn't given out any franchise crippling contracts while upgrading some of our biggest weaknesses going into the draft.
LoL that’s funny stuff and I like what we are doing a lot! I can’t wait for the draft man I’m super pumped rn
Would you rather we still had major holes and had to draft a player out of need? LOL The beauty now is that for most of the draft JD can just go BPA regardless of need, although we still do have glaring needs at Edge and WR. If he likes KT and he falls to #4, we have our Edge, or he could take Jermaine Johnson there, or he could take Sauce or Hamilton at #4, take Johnson or Karlaftis or Ojabo at #10, then take a WR at #35 and a FS or a LB or TE at #38
Give me some Sauce lol I can’t lie I have a little crush on that guy. He’s gonna be an absolute stud for many years to come
This is my thinking now as well. I'd say JD is targeting Dax Hill, Jaquan Brisker, or Lewis Cine at 35 or 38 to pair with Joyner and Whitehead.
When I look at our needs for the draft and the rest of FA I see: Major needs: 1. Edge 2. DT 3. WR Depth needs: 4. 2nd TE 5. 5th WR 6. OL depth 7. 4th or 5th rd RB 8. young safety 9. LB 10. DT replacement for Rankins Most of our glaring holes have been filled. What an amazing FA this has been.
I think things would get very interesting if that happens. I'm with you that I don't think they'd take Neal so if 1-3 goes Hutch, KT, & Ekwonu in some order, I would think they'd try to trade back or take Sauce at 4.
Feel again that we try to make a push at filling out our roster with B+ players in FA and try to get our stars in the Draft. Happy with how we are filling out our weak points in the roster. Therefore allowing us to go for players we love in the draft. Presume 4 is a DE but the rest can be BPA especially the first three rounds. Sent from my M2007J20CG using Tapatalk
