We need someone after barely missing out on Williams.

hamilton in the draft or honey badger is still out there. or we can limp another season at safety and address it next year and run with joyner/davis. it's also possible we bring back maye cheap who likely wouldn't be ready until mid season

    they are a .500 type w/o him... 2016 8-8, 2017 9-7 2018- 4-5 before he started

    2018 he went 6-1
    2019 he went 14-2
    2020 11-5
    2021 7-5 w/ him 1-4 w/o him

exposed? yeah. your football acumen is exposed.

    38-12 as a starter

I'll take a QB who wins more than 3 games for every loss every damned time.

i feel that it was ALWAYS likely that we'd pick guys who Saleh already knows when FA came around...

i feel no longing for any player in FA this year so...

We will see. A Lamar fan I see. He took the league by storm and teams did not have an answer for him. They do now and when asked to win with his arm he just has not been able to do it. The team o-line and running game is not as good either. Like I said .500 team at best.

I like DJ Reed. He is only 5'9, but so was Aaron Glenn, I believe. Douglas keeps improving the roster and turning the Jets into a respectable squad. You love to see it! :)

I think it'll be KT at 4 and then CB or WR at 10.

I'd lean CB, only if Sauce makes it that far, and then take your WR at 35.

How can it be a mistake if Williams wanted to sign with Baltimore? Like so many other players, he could have just been using the Jets, and maybe would have signed if JD was willing to pay him $17-$19 million per season, but not at $14-$15 million per season. You're definitely leaning pessimistic, if you see this as a mistake without all the facts.

The question is where do we go if KT is gone? Ekwonu? Hamilton? Gardner? Trade down? I don't like any of these choices besides trade back.

    My guess would be Ekwonu.

Let Ekwonu/Becton/Fant battle it out for the OT spots. Loser moves to swing OT for a year. Re-assess next offseason when Fant's contract is up.

    Whitehead has arrived.

Look forward to the pessimism that's incoming.

Wow JD is a spending spree that has transformed this team.

So far we have drastically upgraded 7 positions
    1. S - Whitehead
    2. S- Joyner
    3. CB - Reed
    4. G - Tomlinson
    5. TE - Uzmoh
    6. Edge - Lawson return
    7. T - Becton return

That is 32 percent of our starters that have been upgraded this off-season.

Not one move so far I’ve looked at and said “wtf”.

Good work so far from Douglas. They NEED to get 3 impact players in the top 38 (or 39) don’t remember which pick the Jets have
