One of the great things about JD and RS is they emphasized a number of times that they will ignore all the noise from media and fans and stick to their long term plan. Everything with these guys is about the process. Making smart calculated decisions made for the long run not quick fixes. as they begin year 2 of the rebuild there is no pressure on them to win now but to just continue to methodically build the team.
I'd say something like "Joe, do what you want. If you want Kyle Hamilton at 4 and Tyler Linderbaum at 10, so be it. Don't listen to the media or the fans. As long as you build a winner, nothing else matters."

Dear Joe, use your eyes and evaluate talent based on what your eyes are telling you. Draft Burks at #4 if Kayvon or Hutchison is off the board. Use our top 4 picks on impact positions EDGE/WR/CB/LB. This TE free agent pool is deep grab Shultz or Ertz and draft one in the middle rounds. Safety needs an upgrade and Marcus Williams instantly is a huge upgrade. Add another safety prospect in the middle rounds. Re sign LDT and Moses for the OL. Add Ryan Jensen in free agency at Center. Trust your eyes and spend in free agency or you will regret you didn’t.
