It's not bullshit. Every QB has tried to evade a sack and failed. The fact that you think every sack Wilson takes is him running "backwards like an idiot" is idiotic. Oh, he's too short, right? But you want a guy that's the same height (or shorter.) I never said I didn't want competition. What I did say is that the Jets aren't going to make Wilson compete in camp just like Jax won't make TL compete. I also think it's beyond stupid to trade assets for Garapollo or Mayfield when those two guys have proven they can't get their team over the hump. So again, feel free to die on that hill. I'd have an easier time accepting the idea of signing a free agent QB to compete with him, but trading draft picks for either of those two mediocre QBs is the stupidest fucking thing I've ever heard. You don't draft a guy #1, have him start the entire first year, and then have him compete for the job in year 2. Since the Jets started him for the entire year, I do not want an open competition in training camp. Question answered. Your turn.
Gotcha. I punched my "true fan" card over 30 years ago so I'll be a Jets fan until either I or they are gone. After the 2015 debacle I learned how to tune them out, though.
