My history w/this team goes back to 1960 when they were the Titans. I went to my first game in 1962 coached by Clyde "Bulldog" Turner at the Polo Grounds. They lost to the Dallas Texans. A long and winding road.

I saw the Super Bowl while I was attending college at Arizona State University. However I was at the AFL playoff game when we beat the hated Raiders. Still the best game I ever attended. My late father bought season tickets to the Jets one year before Namath came on board.
71 years old. Cancer survivor and still working full time. I can't pass on till they win another Super Bowl.

WOW! I've been a fan since 1964, and I thought I had suffered a long time. I believe there are a couple of others here on the board that have been fans since the Titans days. My hat's off to you all! I hope that you feel hopeful about the direction of the team under JD and that all of us long-suffering Jets fans will be rewarded for our patience, fortitude and sticking with the team through all the dark years since 1968 & the '69 Superbowl. Hey guys, long time member on this board. Been away for awhile. Life long Jets fan. Born in NJ but grew up in CT. The last decade has been insufferable, embarrassing and down right unacceptable. But I truly believe brighter days are ahead. In less than 3 weeks our team will begin the transformation from last years into the 2022 version. I am excited for what's to come. Go Jets!
True that. It's been a while since I've thought more than just I hope the QB develops. That's still important, but I think our other positions have improved a lot too and expect the jets to look like an NFL franchise for the first time in about 5 years. I know it's been bad for 10, but the past 5 we've been a bottom 5 team every year
