Thanks so much for sharing some really memorable pics. I was a teenager when that magic year took place. Took a lot of razing through the years, but I wouldn’t trade it for the world. I am hoping and praying for those older Jets fans who were to young to remember. Hopefully they experience that feeling.
Nice The beautiful video and classic narration from the NFL films team cemented my love in the early 80’s already loved the Jets , but was a little young to understand Namath watching these made me Clark Kent at 10 years old I’m happy and sad at the same time

No, actually you know you're old when you are old enough that you should remember, but don't. As of this moment I do still remember it all very clearly, so that's a good thing. The memory itself, of course, is somewhat bittersweet when the last 53 seasons are taken into account.
I was 12 years old, I remember the Jets being on every Sunday and watching the AFL games every week I had no idea that the NFL was supposed to be so much better, Kansas City solidified 1 year later that they weren’t.
If anyone would care to feel old right now… On this day my mom was a 9 year old living in Montclair, NJ. It will be 21.5 years until I am born.
