How you walk on self defense by dismembering some old guy after disguising yourself as a woman and dumping his body parts in the water is beyond me in the first place.
Did you watch the Jinx? If not, you should. It’s fascinating. Incredibly lawyering by Dick DeGuerin too. To walk into that courtroom and openly have Durst admit that he killed Morris Black and dismembered him must’ve shocked the entire courtroom.
I did. Crazy. If Durst hadn't agreed to do that documentary he could've possibly died a free man. I thought him muttering, "I did it. I killed them all" (or something along those lines) not realizing the mic was still on was what refueled the investigation. John Du Pont, that was another wild case. Du Pont was full on mentally ill and paranoid but declared responsible while Durst was extremely calculating and completely sane.
