I agree with the title of the thread but I'm shocked they were able to win 4 games given all their problems.
You accidentally win 4 games in the NFL. That's why when a team really blows out and wins 2 or less it is so noteworthy.
Yah it’s interesting…their record is like ours but they seem really rudderless…like what are they trying to build? They have good receivers, but Jones is an enigma and has missed a lot of time so hard to know what they have with him. Barkley looks like a shell of his rookie self after too many injuries. The OL includes a top 4 pick at LT and a huge free agent signing that they had to move to RT but the OL is still not good. They have good DBs but no pass rush… just not sure what their identity is we suck too, but it just feels a little different…we have a young group and we’ve seen some progress…who knows…but to me at least the Jets are more hopeful and the Giants just seem like they are still looking for direction…I would not be shocked if Judge is let go. Gettleman has to go…
Anthony Thomas has more receiving TDs than Golladay + Toney combined. Good money spent and a great draft pick for them. They’re in trouble

We are both equally bad, and are giving us as fans to have no reason for hope of being competitive in the next 3 years
The Giants made a lot of the same exact mistakes as the Jets this year: -Not investing in a quality, veteran backup QB -Not improving the O-line -Not getting a quality edge rusher -Not improving the secondary Both teams lost games in horrifically embarrassing ways. However, the Jets showed signs of improvement during the year while the Giants got steadily worse. The Jets draft picks seem to be panning out way better than the Giants' picks. And the Jets players, for all the sloppiness, seem to actually play hard at least; the Giants seem to have given up. Both teams have a long way to go, but I think the Jets have a slight edge in hope. The Jets also have, for the first time, an era where they aren't playing in the Giants' shadow (no pun intended). The Jets have an opportunity to emerge from these dark times as the dominant NY football team.
I shudder every time Jets fans flex their beer muscles over how bad the Giants are. They always seem to reload faster and go farther than the Jets ever do.
