My biggest worry with him is his size and height I see a lot of blocked passes in the future

Saw every game. I guess we’re gonna have to agree to disagree.

He showed signs but his best game was just a solid effort for any top QB in the league.
It's hard to grade when there was no personnel consistency for him AND the OC.
They can only get so much done. But here we are again next year STILL at square one....
From here on in, it's about the dubs.

9 TD and 3 TO over the last 6 with some really solid tape should do it for you but to each their own.

I gave him a C, he definitely needs more help.

    D.

He doesn't deserve a failing grade, but he was bad more often than not.

    C

Looked awful earlier in the year. Definitely improved notably as the season went on. Still missing some easy throws but has eliminated the INT's entirely.

I don't put any stock in the last game given all the starters out on offense.

Next year Wilson needs to be throwing for 225+ and a couple TD's per game by midseason with relatively few INT's or I'll start to get concerned. Hopefully he can continue the upward trajectory next season.

He was seeing the Bill DL running free. With no one open.

Would I have preferred he threw them away. Yes. But only because I fear for his health. I like that he was sick of taking sacks on every play and wanted to use his escapability. He hasn't played hero ball since before the injury.

Post Injury looked like he belonged in the league and showed a ton of promise. I think watching the Mike White game / having that stretch out with the PCL injury helped settle his nerves and looked at the bigger picture.
Pre Injury he did not look that good, so averages out to a C for me

I cannot say with confidence that he's a FQB. However, there were some flashes.

A significant jump in year 2 will be necessary for his development. I need a few 300 yard, 2-3 TD games early on or it'll be time to get concerned.

For this season, I'll give him a C.

I'm not giving any grade to any of these this year except Incomplete. With a rookie CS, two new complex systems/schemes, and the massive number of injuries where we lost key starters for the whole season or most of it, and more Covid crap, there's no way imo one can give any kind of fair or rational grade.

If we're going by football, I'd give him a C-. Was an F in the first half, but I give him credit for playing better after the injury. I hoped for better though. And if he plays like this next season, it's an automatic F no matter whether he was better in the second half or not.

But he finished the year with a 69.69 passer rating, so he gets an A+++ for that.

It wasn't a good look for the final game. You can't stand In the pocket all day long. You can't run around backwards, all day long. So much, was just bad, I don't have much optimism overall for any aspect of this team.

    Let the off-season begin. Sigh.

I went C but it could have easily been a D. Today he was way to conservative, while also holding the ball to long. Had a very Darnold feel which wasn't a good final look.

C-. Clearly showed progress and the lack of turnovers late if very promising. I know he had zero help, but saw too much of the holding the ball too long in an attempt to play hero ball today that I bump it down from a C.

I only saw a few drives today... so serious question.

    Was there a pocket?

Sometimes. He also got sacked 9 times though and got hit before he could even hand it off once. The OL was really bad today.

    Ok.

Like I said... I only saw a few drives and it looked like he was getting harassed.

There was no pocket and nobody to throw to. Crowder got hurt early. It was almost impossible to throw against the wind and we had no running game.
