I like the fact that JD isn't dragging his feet cutting & signing players.

The team announced the release of Shaq Lawson ahead of their regular season finale against the Bills. Lawson was under contract for a non-guaranteed salary of $8.9 million for the 2022 season, so the Jets likely moved now to avoid the risk of an injury that could keep him on the roster come the new league year.
I'd like to see them sign Foly with the $.

That and he isn’t very good. Nowhere near worth that contract he was going to get.

Everyone was celebrating this in the off-season as some sort of amazing move by JD.

Wasn't this the guy DWC was in love with?

I dislike the fact that JD signed him in the first place.

Because of the 2022 6th pick we gave up?

Gives him the chance to sign with a play off team too.

The Jets are getting better at looking after players, which is a good thing.

Also prevents the dude getting injured and potentially causing a 9million dollar headache.

Thanks FJF. I tried to look for it but couldn't. Is it 56 after cutting Shaq or before?

About 61mil, but don't forget with all the high picks we have we will need aprox 20mil to sign Draft picks.

    Actually traded for him.
A less athletic Jordan Jenkins, and no where near as good at contain.

Why didn’t we keep Basham for depth?

Not as bad as the Flacco move, but in that ballpark.
