I'm a Nationals and Capitals fans so I have that. I would feel bad not rooting for the local football team too if they didn't suck equally as bad but I am a casual hockey/baseball fan but die hard NFL.
Just noticed this thread and it made me feel old. I was in college when Petro started this and recruited some of us off the ESPN board. I am now more of a lurker/reader, but still appreciate the quality of the posters on this forum.
I can't thank you enough Petro for giving fans like us a place to vent, bitch, laugh, and have a good time. I really appreciate it. We all love the Jets through the good times and ALL of the horrible bad times. Wait, did I say there were any good times?

Wow, 20 years! Been here since 2002 and wouldn’t think of discussing Jets anywhere else. Thanks Petro and CMan for keeping it going all these years! If it’s one thing Jet fans need, it’s commiseration! All the best to you guys
Haha...is it sad that I thought it was more strange that we have "only" had 5 coaches, than its been 20 years? Seriously, seems like a lot of bumpy roads. Still my highlight over that period is the Jets beating NE in the playoffs circa 2009/2010...too bad we didn't take it to the next step.
Next year will be the 20th anniversary of former Jets quarterback Joe Namath wanting to kiss sideline reporter Suzy Kolber. I betcha he still wants to kiss her because she still looks pretty good at the age of 57.
I understand the need for advertisements. I actually click on some of them (not necessarily the ones with scantily clad women.) It's easy to scroll past the banners to get to the discussion boards. However, there is one ad protocol that is terribly annoying, the Infolinks ads that pop up from the bottom and obscures the good content. It always requires a click to dismiss it and then it pops up again as soon as there a change in screens. It's really annoying and I hope you can eliminate this type of ad without too much of a loss of income. Thanks.

2004...2004. My boys were 7 and 5. This is the only site i have ever posted on except perhaps one or two posts before i pitched my tent here. Incredible. Ty so much for this site.
