Well here we are again ..trying to win a draft spot and a Coaching Staff that's gotta look good going out with a Bang in Wilsons first year

Fortuneatly I can almost make book the Jet Defense is handing away at least 70 points over next two weeks

    Hallelujah!!

Very happy with the win today! Maybe we can beat buffalo and tampa too. Would be good for our guys to come away with a few more wins. I love winning and our draft position staying relatively the same.

Happy we won today but a loss would’ve put us into the #2 slot and a lock to get Hutchinson or Thibodeux. Oh well, hopefully the football gods have our back and the teams ahead of us win the next 2 games.

If JD Is worth his stature, having two picks that high, should be amazing for us regardless of position. There will be some legit guys this year at the top of the draft. Not as many "first" round quality guys this year though. So, it's fucking wild we have two picks In the top of this draft.

Hopefully JD can have an even better haul this year and show what his actual worth Is for this team.

I never want to be mad over a win but I am mad that the last few years have been the same thing over and over.
Start the year playing like garbage, get embarrassed against division opponents, and when there's nothing left to play for start pushing for wins that ultimately mean nothing. For years I've been hearing on this board "you gotta start winning some time, it's good for the team, can't turn it around losing, etc etc" and it doesn't carry over next year rinse repeat.

I'm happy for the Seahawks loss today, but our win was definitely a mood killer.

We could have all but locked in either Thibodeaux or Hutchinson. Both will be studs at the next level. We desperately need that blue chip defender, look what Micah Parsons is doing for Dallas this year.

At this point, the WORST thing we can do is reach for a need again and go with a second tier pass rusher in the top 10--I'm done with this team if we draft a guy like Karlaftis...basically a gym freak who is going to wow scouts by being Tarzan, but ends up playing like Jane on Sunday.

Our best move is probably going Evan Neal if he's there and at least securing a franchise tackle that this team still needs. Or go with a guy like Hamilton who is going to be an all pro safety.

I want a pass rusher, but there is simply no one worth a top 10 unless it's one of the big 2.

We missed out on Chase Young and Bosa....looks like we just missed out on two more this year.

Don’t despair. Word on the street is Hutch and Thibs aren’t at the same level as Bosa or Myles Garrett. If so I am content with Neal or Hamilton. Both will serve a need. Be happy that we exposed TLaw. Apparently losing out on him wasn’t earth shattering like we thought.

I read somewhere that Karlaftis is a better fit for the Jets than the other two due to the scheme. I haven’t watched him play so I really couldn’t say. Most of the mocks have the Jets taking Stingley which I don’t like at all. I feel the Jets should stick with the present CBs and build the rest of the defense around them.

Having two top ten picks is a boon for this upcoming draft - a lot of good talent. I wouldn’t be surprised to see JD trade down slightly to acquire more picks …

Micah Parsons was the 12th pick, so he wasn't seen as a blue chip defender when he was drafted.

Parsons on jets would have been nice. And worth a trade up for sure.

The Jets should definitely stay with the current CB's for another season. Those guys haven't been the problem on the defense this season.

No idea if they are going to be +starters over time but they're not playing like washouts like a lot of the players on that side of the ball.

Revis was a mid first round blue chip. When it's all said and done, I think we'll have gotten a blue chip in the second round of 2021.

I don't know how draft interviews and workouts will affect stock but if Sauce Gardner is still a mid first range player I would try to grab him there. He's my favorite corner in this draft, maybe because he'd be the best fit for this team. His stock might rise to the top 10 and I'd he fine talking him with our second pick.

Physically he reminds me a lot of Randy Moss although not as fast, he's loaded with quick twitch and has great instincts for zone, plus he stays disciplined in his zones from what I have seen. He's a willing tackler in run support and wraps up at the knees, a la Revis. Thin frame but he can really lay the wood and he is deceptively strong. His jams are excellent although nowhere close to the pit bull Revis was, he uses good leverage shredding blocks.

In man coverage I have yet to see him get more than slightly burnt and he harasses his man all over the field without too much obvious holding. He has never allowed a touchdown in his collegiate career.

I can see him on the Ravens, easily.

Worth is measured in pick ups like Berrios and JFM. Anyone can have a good draft with so many high picks.

We could have had Parsons and others if we had traded the #2 overall last year.
