When we played the Saints Cam Jordan missed his first game in like 4 years due to COVID. Next week against Brady he got two sacks and a forced fumble.
the quality of the entire group of players on both sides of the ball had been sinking steadily since 2011
Zach doesn't look like he has even come close to pooping his pampers today. Maybe this will give him some confidence when he's not playing a JV roster.
Even in a win, Zach continues to disappoint with an anemic 102 yds passing (less than 5 yds per attempt) against a substandard defense. He can run for 50, but can't throw for 5. Oh boy, might be time to start looking for another QB.
Totally bro. I don't recall a single drop bro. Mims killed it all day, couldn't get the ball once bro. I bet Zacks racist bro. Lawrence is the best QB ever bro. Passing yards>>>>touchdowns, rushing yards and winning bro.
I think there were two drops today where the receiver had the ball in their hands and should’ve caught it I don’t know…Zach didn’t have much out there today…not like he had a ton of options….today he didn’t have great passing stats but it’s not like he sucked…he took what was there…could’ve had twopicks but got lucky they were dropped all in all he had a mediocre day if not for his scrambling…nice to see him finally throw a TD and now three straight games without a pick. Thats something at least.
I thought ZW was good enough today. Folks have to get over the fact that we re expecting to see him be like Mahomes, Hebert, etc. Let’s just him be a solid QB with good play. The GOOD 1). Another game with no int (not giving the game away) 2) Finally sees the field better and scrambled fairly well today The NOT SO GOOD 1) wasn’t very efficient in red zone (could have put the game out of reach) 2) Enough with the excuses that he had no receivers. Yeah it wasn’t good corps but Cole, Berrios, Kroft and Carter are adequate receivers. overall a good enough game by ZW to give them a chance to win.
There was literally no one open today and when they were they dropped the ball. Receivers were running wrong routes but they did run block well. The two "almost" interceptions was a drop and the other Mims being clueless. Zach had a great day with his legs and making great decisions and I am really impressed converting two fourth downs. He has done this all year. Berrios was the only NFL WR on the field today for the Jets.
I think he’s settled in pretty well these last few weeks. The stats aren’t there but anyone with two eyes and a brain sees the progress. He’s seeing the field and making the right read 90% of the time. Accuracy still is a bit of an issue but that’s the part I would much rather he have to work on. All of this “playing free” stuff sounded a bit like BS but it’s apparent how real it is. He’s running when he should, making the quick throws when he should and not forcing things deep. He’s far from “there” but the arrow is pointing up.
Mims is officially the laziest football player I think I've seen. I went through a stretch watching him when he was in. He just jogs and makes no attempt at separation. He also blocks with at much energy as a wet towel. Zach had an OK game.. but people saying he sucked and Lawrence had this great game are both clueless and self loathing. But regarding Zack... Was it a real good game? No. But the offense ran for over 200 yards, he has over 90.. and he made passes enough when he needed to t
I'm telling you, the guy has a vape pen in his sock or something. He probably got too much time off for Covid in the offseason and got bored and started getting high a lot and now that's his thing. It's way too easy to get away with it now, no knock off smell. Just the telltale utter lack of motivation.
No, those receivers are not adequate, not even close to it. None of them can separate against man coverage. The Jaguars knew this and played man coverage the entire game, which is what opened up the run option for Zach so often.
