Kevin Faulk (knee), TE Ben Watson, DT Vince Wilfork (ankle), DB Chad Scott, and WR Bam Childress are all listed as questionable for the Wild Card round. No surprises here. The availability of Scott is important with Rodney Harrison out. There seems to be optimism around the Patriots that everyone but Harrison will be available. Another bonus: their best defense player, DE Ty Warren, wasn't active for the last Jets. Source: Boston Globe
Man, all of those questionables scare me, I know most will play but having so many people banged up can never be good for a squad. Rodney Harrison being out helps us a freaking TON!!!
?The bottom line is that the Jets are a good football team. Eric?s done a good job with them and his staff has done a good job. They got a lot of great players. ?They?re playing as well as anybody in the league right now.? Bill Belichick The only reason this guy is now being complimentary is because he picked up on what the press has been saying about how petty, immature and adolescent his attitude has been against Mangini since he left. But there's also another reason. It's because he's afraid we're going to kick his ass and he doesn't want to look any more follish than he already appears. GO JETS!
RB Kevin Faulk (knee) -- questionable TE Benjamin Watson (knee) -- questionable NT Vince Wilfork (ankle) -- questionable The three most injurious injuries.
Any other coach in the league would have a lot of those "questionables" listed as "probable", but doing it this way is one of those Belichick-ian tactics.
My feeling is this. If Harrison was listed officially as out and he was playing at 1:00PM on Sunday, Not only should it be a fine, but I think it's an official overturn of the final result if the Pats win. Because that is a major new low Bellichick has gone to try and decieve and opponent. So that's what I think. :jets:
When a player is listed as OUT in the Wednesday report he is not allowed by league rule to suit up on Sunday. Questionable is the category for any player who might or might not play on Sunday.
On the money 227. I was about to write this up but you beat me to it. Bellichick is sweating on this one and he must be dog sick that we jumped up to number 5 seed when 'Dopey Denver' blew it again. Happy new year from Scotland by the way man.
Yeah, right! BB says the same thing most weeks about the upcoming opponent. His set comment just has to change the team name and the coach's name. The PR department gave him this line to say prior to all games. He's been making this comment with the appropriate changes since he arrived on the scene.
BB is very evil. He will do anything to undermind the league and especially the Jets. He should be hanged like Saddam.
