Another double digit loss by Kotite Jr. Another day where his team is outcoached and outsmarted. Does this team really ride it out for 2 years with a coach this far in over his head?
Anyone know the last time we were completely swept by all of our division opponents In the same year? Looks like that's going to definitely happen this year.
I'm growing more and more convinced that we're wasting our time if/when we bring Saleh back next season.
Too much to learn if they are not responsible for one side of the play calling. This experiment with an all rookie CS has turned out to be pretty bad, I do believe they will get another year.
No discipline at all--roughing the passer 2 seconds after release--and could we have ONE game where there is not a penalty on a return??
Just got back from game. How the fuck are we consistently not ready after big plays or penalties on the other team. You cannot burn 2 timeouts on back to back plays in a tie game in the fucking 3rd Q
Saleh’s so lost dude. He completely abandoned his own identity as a fuck yeah let’s kill the other team type of coach. Not to mention his game management is just atrocious. He makes Herm look like a fantastic game manager.
Saleh's post game pressers are starting to sound eerily familiar to the ones we heard back in 1996. We are firmly in orbit around planet Kotite, which looks to be a black hole type planet for which there is no escape.
Got to give the Jets credit. It was impressive enough to hire one Kotite back in the 90s, but to now turn around twenty years later and hire two of them in a row. That's beyond impressive.
The problem with Saleh is that the Jets are going to need an inspired team-builder next season to clean up the mess from this season. They're going to need a guy with a plan and a proven method of extracting the best performances from the talent he is given. Right now Saleh has none of that - literally zero, nada, zilch. So Saleh is going to have to spend the off-season reinventing himself at the same time that he spends the off-season reinventing the Jets and that's a truly terrible load for one man to have to carry.
This is a brilliant, brilliant post! I sit here in my little apartment every Sunday watching this POS of a franchise and say THE EXACT SAME THINGS TO MYSELF that this gentleman just said. How is it possible for a professional football team (by definition - they do football for a living and that is all they do all week long - I think?) can come out game after game totally unprepared, totally unaware of their opponent's strengths and weaknesses, displaying no in game management awareness and look like amateurs every week? Mind boggling.
I'm still giving him another year.. Again, it's hard to judge him when he has the worst safety room and the worst linebacker room in the NFL. Not being able to figure out how to use timeouts is really concerning to me more than anything else. And he should take control of the defense IMO
