When I first heard flacco was started I thought it was a stupid move but the more I think about how bad this team and oline is made its better if flacco just starts the rest of the season its really good for wlison or white to get there ass handed to them every week? Just a complete mess

I'm not that upset that a guy who has had 6% of his pass attempts intercepted is sitting against a team I hate. 8 interceptions in 12 quarters of football. That's stinky.

The Jets don't need a quarterback? Who has demonstrated they are ready to play seventeen games plus a couple of bonus contests? As far as I know, that's the metric the NFL operates under.

    "He stuck in his thumb

    and pulled out a plum

and said 'what a good boy am I?'"

[To be fair, that was the best pass I've seen him throw this year. He has thrown 181 times though.]

It wasn't his only good pass and you know it. Wait. I take that back. Maybe you don't.

I said it was the best pass I saw. I did not say it was his only good pass.

At least read what I write before you get snide. If you don't understand it, just ask, I'll type slowly for you.

What makes this throw much better is he threw it from the pocket. Most of his good throws have come out of the pocket, off script. A lot of his bad throws have come from in the pocket. I wonder if anyone had done some analysis on that. Would be interesting.

Okay (typing slowly now) the pass in the post I responded to was judged by me to be the best looking, best placed, best paced and most successful pass I have seen Wilson throw in his entire NFL career (and I believe I have seen all of them at least once, this one probably a dozen times). On the other hand, cherry picking one beautiful pass and posting it here proves...nothing - it is representative of nothing but that one attempt.

    Do you disagree?

Greeny said it best about Saleh. Two weeks ago it was "anything could happen [with White] he could be the guy for the future" ...paraphrasing... and two weeks later he's benched for this washed up bum in Flacco

    that's poor leadership.

Because Flacco matches better than MW against Miami's defense.

Well then I'll need you to ask it again because I don't know what you're looking for. (I'll read slowly).

saleh said he believes in white and his future with the jets but that they have a lot of play makers and need someone who will get them the ball fast and wanted someone with more experience against miami's blitz heavy defense

You don't pick who plays quarterback based on things like that. Your quarterback is your quarterback... until he isn't. Clearly Mike White is not our quarterback any more, but neither is Flacco. At least White has a chance to still be here next year as a back-up, and some more experience would help him. Instead we are giving that experience to a has-been who will not be here next year.

This is just a bafflingly bad, pointless decision.

Also, Ralebird and bicketybam... knock it off for fuck's sake. It's like having kids arguing endlessly in the back seat.

Exactly and it shows his indecisiveness. The team sees this and responds accordingly. Look at how they play...he is like TB sphinx on the sideline 99% of the time and his team has taken on his demeanor. Furthermore, I have yet to see him coach one of his players - like BB - after a mistake. At this point, he seems unprepared for the job and it shows by his poor decisions during games, how the team plays weekly, his body language and his pressers.... What happened to that dynamic personality.... LOL, the NYJ did.
