We probably have two first round picks within the first 12-14. Stud pass rusher, stud LB or stud OL are my choices with the first two. If there is a no kidding stud TE may be but is a third priority for me.
The Jets fans that will complain about this quote are going to be same ones that have been complaining about Saleh not having fire.
There are not many big names at Tight End this next draft. I would look to free agency for a tight end or if they did go draft, someone like Wydermyer or Otton
Im not saying ignore it. I’m saying his body of work is overwhelming negative as a head coach. He had two fantastic years and deserves a ton of credit. Then he had a lot of really bad years.
Can't really find myself caring all that much about what Rex has to say on the matter. He didn't exactly light the world on fire when he began molding the franchise in his image the further away we got from the team that Mangini had helped put together. If anything, his accomplishments on the field are similar to what Jon Gruden did in Tampa Bay. He took someone else's team, gave it a shot in the arm with the enthusiasm and new perspective that he brought to it, and got then over the hump. Luckily for Tampa, that concluded with a Lombardi. For us, we got two fun years out of it and that one great night in Foxboro, but after that, the current misery we find ourselves in began. And, honestly, if his defense showed up in either of those championship games, we'd have gone to a Super Bowl.
Looking at this reminds me of all those press conferences. I swear the man had one tone. Heard he's a actual great guy and can laugh, bit of a shame we never got to see him that way. Sent from my M2007J20CG using Tapatalk
I used to be able to tell who posters were based on their avatar and now everyone has the "sell the team" avatar on. Cmon people you're killing me!
If anything his record was average after '09 & '10. He did more in those two years than any coach before or since. I don't particularly like his style as a head coach... but you can't argue the results. I dare anyone to find a player saying they didn't like playing football under Rex Ryan. The players loved him and played hard... that's something that Robert Saleh hasn't gotten from his players... you can see it every Sunday.
Rex is right salah has literally sucked! Minus the tenn and Cincy games, and he almost lost both with bonehead coaching. Rex is getting paid as TV analyst, he has the load mouth required. 2 delay of game calls are egregious! That alone is proof. Never would I think Salah would be worse than Gase so far. Sanchez had his moments. ESP in playoffs. Just way to inconsistent. Not sure why he could not put it together, we had some glimpse of what coulda been. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
