How could that father do that to his two sons? Hopefully, things ARE on the rise, and they won't have to suffer like we have for decades!
Cool, they got two autographs too! Question is: did they get Mike White's autograph? I think I see what looks like the top of a W in the lower left. Hold the sign higher kids.
That game was actually a nice introduction into being a Jets fan for them. Their #2 overall pick QB was injured, the QB they traded a 6th round pick for was inactive, the QB who threw for 400 yards the week before was instantly injured in the 1st Quarter, then the 4th string QB threw for 300 yards and gave fans slight hope until an interception at the end, franchise tagged safety tears his achilles, and the Head Coach with a defensive mind's defense looked horrendous. Baptism by fire for those 2 kids.
Yeah I am back onto this. Don't let the changes fool you. At best this isn't worth your time for the rest of the year.
You could just root for us to fail. A decent size contingency on this board has chosen to do just that.
Eh I am bored of doing that too. We draft early every year but nothing has changed. We're basically the Browns in 2000s where we pick top 5 every year with nothing to show for it.
Best part is these schmucks aren't rooting for a better pick, they are rooting for the jets to fail because they would rather be right about some move that they didn't like than to see their team succeed. Honestly I've never seen anything like it.. maybe this fan base deserves what we've seen for a decade
Well that's just dumb, but I think its like a feedback loop of the Jets sucking and the fanbase becoming more toxic. If no one including the players is enjoying themselves, things just get worse and worse. I honestly don't know what moves they would have made in vacuum that would have made the season any different. Lets take the decision to draft Wilson which was very controversial among some fans. There was the Justin Fields advocates who could be right, but he hasn't proven enough to definitively say hes better than Wilson. The keep Darnold crowd is also just silly, he now looks terrible and I bet the Panthers never go back to him rest of season. It spans beyond roster moves and I think there are problems behind closed doors that the public just doesn't get to see. We have been through all these coaches, GMs, and players and nothing changes. It probably has SOMETHING to do with the Johnsons because they have been the constant in all of this. You could see how quickly a dismal franchise like Buffalo changed after the Wilson family sold the team.
I agree. It's institutional. People come here and just suck all of a sudden. It's insane. I think the first step out of this was the org restructure. The GM and coach reporting to owners who know nothing about football was just beyond stupid. Next, they need a VP of football ops.
Sell Sell Sell... what do the fuk+ng Johnsons want from this Fanbase other than the ego of a Billionaire owning a bad team
Elementary my dear Watson. They want your money by any means they can get it. TV revenue, merchandizing, concessions, PSL's, ST's, etc..
They are losing fans long term. I have a 2 year old and have no plans to make him suffer the rest of his life by following this team.
The stadium looked pretty devoid of jets fans by the half. Anybody there that can describe the atmosphere, or bills jets fan split if the crowd?
Apparently Bezos wants to buy a franchise (ideally the Niners but the owners have said no) - I am sure Woody could get a hell of a deal out of him if he was motivated to sell
