It's actually quite annoying to read. The dude has issues. I'll admit, I didn't turn on the game until the 2nd half. And that was because of last weeks performance. I'm happy the team was able to bounce back against a tough opponent after getting destroyed. You don't see that happen quite often.
One thing that I was really impressed with today was how the offense went down the field with less than two minutes and put a TD on the board before the half. That's something that always seems to happen against us, but not something that we ever seem to do ourselves. Loved it.
Bledsoe had just signed a $100M contract the spring of 2001. He expected to go back in when he was healthy again just before the 2001 playoffs. Smart teams don't look a gift horse in the mouth. They just keep riding it and if that ride is a long ride, well that's the way the cookie crumbles. If White plays well and the Jets seem to be jelling, that's the proverbial gift horse. Only a group of fools would switch back to the #2 pick.
Super excited about this win today against a pretty solid team. We got some lucky calls but so did they. I hope the young men on the field and in the CS get some well deserved rest and the start prepping for indy. If we beat the bengals and the titans we can beat indy
Making decisions based on draft status instead of onfield performance would be putting ego over team. You play what’s working. all that said a lot can happen in next couple weeks, so we will see. At very leat more exciting than watching a disinterested Flacco again like last year. For both the fans and the players/CS.

I don't know whether it was just me but they flashed up a shot of Flacco when the Jets were in victory formation and it looked like he'd just swallowed a bee.
Not just you. They showed Flacco several times during the game and he looked like he had a bad case of indigestion each time.
They should have made him sit up in Woody's box because that was almost surely the reason they traded for him in the first place.

My hope is ZW will go over this film in depth over the next few weeks. Yesterday was a perfect example of what Saleh was talking about a few weeks ago with his "boring football" comment. White played an incredible game yesterday and took exactly what the defense gave him. If Zach Wilson can learn to do that and still hit some of those deep shots he loves to take? The sky is the limit. It seemed to me like the play-calling was much improved yesterday. I imagine LaFleur will stay in the booth now as I think having that perspective helped him see what would work against the Bengals more clearly. Not to mention our skill players made some great plays after the catch today. It's one game, I'm hoping we all see similar things against the Colts but for now I'm going to enjoy this win!
