This is a good read, not too long, and says pretty much what we have been saying here regarding the pathetic state of things in Florham Park. If this has been previously posted, my apologies. I did not see it. https://www.profootballnetwork.com/...ouglas-hc-robert-saleh-and-their-2021-season/
I said this last week, this is a talent issue. These young players have no football iq. These coaches arent teaching it. You cant moneyball a bad team good.
Funny because I disagree entirely with you. Like polar opposite disagree. The one aggravating part about this team is that there is a lot of talent on the roster but the offensive game plan is such shit, that we can't exploit it
I think the Jets are going in the right direction and they should stay the course, something they have not done since the 80's. They are in a rebuild and it will take time. Any writer who wants to have a column will of course say that it's coaching that's the problem. If he said they lack talent and experience there would be nothing to make a headline. When your signal caller on defense is a fifth round draft choice and a rookie you can't expect a great performance. It would be nice to win a few more games but the Jets are one of the bad NFL teams that are doing what MLB and NBA organizations do to rebuild. The Astros dumped seasons and so did the Cubs. Some basketball squads are doing it now. The Jets have maybe one top 50 player. Watch for improvement and stop second guessing the coaches. You win with players and the Jets don't have enough yet.
